Refugee camp in Central Park

Over the weekend, Medicins Sans Frontieres (Doctors Without Borders) set up a mock refugee camp in the Cherry Hill section of Central Park. I went with students from the International Health Club. Our tour guide is a nurse with MSF and has been to Afghanistan, Sudan (Darfur), and the DRC (Congo), among other places. On the way back home, I saw some stuff related to John Lennon.

If I were a refugee, I think I would prefer to have cholera and live in that tent ... it looks more comfortable than the shelters that hold 12 people!
