The cholera tent. This is where ppl w/cholera get intravenous hydration therapy. When you're infected, you can die of dehydration -- the fluid is coming out of both ends. To treat it, they pump a saline solution into the person, sometimes thru both arms depending on how badly they're dehydrated. The hole in the middle of the bed is for drainage of diarrhea into the black bucket. It's not quite as gross as it sounds. Apparently, cholera is an odorless bacteria that produces rice-water stool. Posted by Picasa
