Ich habe X-beine
I have X-legs – German is so descriptive. 6 years of instruction and that of all things is what I remember.
I run knock-kneed. Well, sort of. If you look at my shoes, the inner tread has worn away while the middle and outside are fine, indication that I pronate when I run. Some people call it overpronate, as opposed to underpronate a.k.a. supinate, which would give you O-beine, or bow-legs. I went running last Sunday in my sneakers which are ~ 1 year old, and the next day I developed an annoying pain on the inner side of my right knee. Fortunately it went away the next day after I’d iced it, but I decided to get new shoes to prevent future injury, i.e. go shopping and use my $20 Sports Authority gift card. And that is how these bad boys came into my possession.
They were eye-poppingly steep but a bit more reasonable with my gift card. I figure I’ll take good care of them (like, not wear them everywhere all the time) and see if they really are all they’re cracked up to be.
