Our nation's capital

Over the weekend, I visited Ms. Strawberry Janana in DC. Some of the highlights:

Sunday:

• Lunch at Jaleo, a tapas place in Arlington
• Grand tour of Washington (Janana: "Yes, Kathie, the President doesn't just work at the White House, he lives there, too.")
• Swedish massage (my first!) at Jouvence
• Darn good Texan chili at Hard Times Cafe in Old Town Alexandria

Monday:

• Brunch provided by the hostess herself: a generous spread of cinnamon buns, scrambled eggs, juice, mandarin oranges, and toast
